Wave surfing in Zanzibar
Kite Centre Zanzibar created the best kite spot on the island. It not only looks like it, we really did! Here you will enjoy the ideal conditions for a whole lot of fun. Play in the immense flatwater lagoon or behind the reef with the waves Enjoy the warm wind and waters, almost all year round. Walk on the white sand beach, chill below the palm trees and treat yourself with barista coffee, quality local food and lot’s of African cultural activity.

Kite lessons
Kite Centre offers beginner-, intermediate- and advanced lessons which will be given by IKO certified instructors. So are you ready to try for the first time, refresh your knowledge and skills or ready for the first jump? Kite Centre is here to help you out! Lessons can be given in different languages, the main given language is English.
Foil lessons
Kite Centre has hydrofoils for kitefoiling but also for wingfoiling. Kite Centre has boards specially for learning and for the more experienced riders who want to rent or improve their skills in an advanced lesson. So are you ready to take your watersports level to the next level and feel why everyone is so hyped about hydrofoiling?
Rental
We have the newest kites, boards and harnesses for rent. Yearly we buy a new collection and sell the old. Our kite rental gear is not in use for lessons, only for rental. We provide big brands with solid quality goods. Rent your kite gear at Kite Centre Zanzibar. Play safe and have multiple options regarding sizes and types of boards and kites.
Can kids learn kitesurfing?
Yes they can! From an introduction to piloting a trainer kite to full independent riding with inflatable kites, everything is possible! @Kite Centre Zanzibar we have special kids equipment and instructors who have a lot of experience teaching children. Children from 4/5 years old can have an introduction to kitesurfing with a trainer kite. Teaching kids to ride is possible from approximately 35 KG.
